BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:35 A.M.) – The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman called the killing of Saudi journalist and dissident Jamal Khashoggi a very “painful” incident and pledged to investigate, speaking at a global investor conference in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The Crown Prince added that all kinds of legal mechanisms will be used to solve the case adding that the investigation will be held in cooperation with Turkey.

The Saudi government admitted earlier that Khashoggi died in the consulate but claim that this was following a dispute that became violent.

This explanation has however been branded unsatisfactory and not credible by many in the international community, and pressure continues to build on the Crown Prince who is suspected of personal involvement in the planning of the killing or at least knowledge of it.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

The topics discussed here matter to us, and we want you to act as if they matter to you, too. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Does this guy really deserve his own abbreviation? The only reason I clicked on this was to see what MBS stands for, and I was disappointed lol.

Time for US to consider a military coup in Qatar. The Bani-Thani is a VERY SERIOUS troublemaker and #1 funder for the infamous Muslim-Brotherhood
