Hours after James Comey, the former director of CIA, was removed from his office by Donald Trump, Julian Assange invited him to work with WikiLeaks.
Assange is the founder of WikiLeaks, the controversial website which releases classified information.
This is while Edward Snowden called Trump’s order a “political interference” by Trump. The NSA whistleblower tweeted “Set aside politics: every American should condemn such political interference in the Bureau’s work.”
Governmental officials say Mr. Comey is fired for negligence over Hillary Clinton email scandal while freelance media believes it was due to issuing a request for the congress to investigate into Russia’s meddling in last year’s presidential election.
Assange tweet reads:
WikiLeaks would be happy to consider hiring James Comey to help lead its DC office should he like to properly investigate the US government.
In another tweet, he wrote about the criminal acts by CIA and mass killing of people without any official burial:
Mr. Comey knows where many bodies are buried. Working for WikiLeaks is fulfilling. James – don’t become another lobbyist for Glock or Donkin.
Snowden also tweeted about Comey’s efforts to arrest him. His sarcastic language in the tweet show his feeling for him:
This FBI Director has sought for years to jail me on account of my political activities. If I can oppose his firing, so can you.
The order for firing James Comey came after recommendations by Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
