BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:05 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham launched a large-scale assualt in the Golan Heights area of Al-Quneitra on Wednesday, targeting the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses around the town of Al-Maqrosah.

Using the cover of fog and rain, Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham stormed the Syrian Arab  Army’a defenses outside of Al-Maqrosah, resulting in the capture of two checkpoints after a brief battle.

Following the capture of these checkpoints by Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham, the Syrian Arab Army’s 9th Division launched a counter-assault to reclaim these sites and expel the jihadist rebels from the area.

This counter-attack would prove successful, as the Syrian Army not only reclaimed the two lost checkpoints, but also inflicted heavy casualties on the enemy forces near Al-Maqrosah in the Golan Heights.

According to a military source in Damascus, Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham would also retreat from the nearby hilltop of Tal Marwan after being forced to withdraw from the Al-Maqrosah area on Wednesday evening.

  1. The jihadi’s aren’t launching an offensive, they’re simply trying to get close to Israel so they can easily get resupplied and get their wounded over the border to be treated.

      • Why would I explain what they’re not doing. I actually explain what they do as nobody seems to understand, having confusing parasites due to the totally nuts conspiracy theories which are more than often irrealistic, not to say purely laughable. The more often, they even end incriminated of doing exactly what their accusers are doing!
In the Syrian case, they mostly have done the same as during the 1st and 2nd Gulf-War, they simply didn’t interfered which is, an I totally agree with their air-marshall, they really should intervene! And not only against Daesh but also against other shithadists. I’d even give close air support to HB and IRGC (now, if Khamenei try to smuggle Fateh-110 into Lebanon to Syria, no way, let the depot being splashed). The Air-Marshall also greatly welcomed the Iranian deal.
Note that Putin shared my advice, he even seemed very pleased to the idea. Thus, former MoD Moshe Yaalon was favouring the Assad must go concept while from the Bibi close circle seemed mo into “We really don’t like Assad but… We had even less problems with Syria since Bashar’s in power than with Jordan or Egypt, why would we want him to go?”
I suppose as, due to the serious 10 years 38bln$ package Obongo signed while he really hates Bibi, I’d say it might have been under condition to not interfering…
Nevertheless, in ANY other country, an Air-Marshall taking such independent diverging advice from the govt would be fired. It gives an interesting idea about the level of freedom here 😉
Errr, well, did I told you that just a few weeks ago, two Israelis were arrested in the US after having bought for 35M$ military-aircraft spare parts which were exported to… Iran…??? I wasn’t too sure if the weapons deals between them were still running due to the heathen rhetoric thus, as we say here, “dog that barks doesn’t bites”.
Nevertheless, it’s sad that Eshel hadn’t the power to decide an air campaign : Daesh would just receive the explosive power of Hiroshima on their asses everyday. It would make nice fireworks and moreove, would have been a real electroshock for public opinion. What made me really thinking that they were about to massive bomb the roaches was that, few after the Eschel declaration, Israel has put both Daesh and Nusra on their terrorist kill-list… Thus, then came the Obama’s 38.8bln$ provision… Strangely…

Having Egypt giving a hand would have been great too.
BTW, you surely know that Israelis bombed Daesh in Sinai and is providing satellite+drone intel to Egypt?

You’d end very surprised by reading their press, it’s really not the way of thinking you describe. Anyway, do not count on me to demonise them as I refused to do this for Assad, Putin, even for Kim Jong Un!

  2. Israel is all abuzz with talk in the Knesset of annexing the West Bank and seizing the holy sites of Jerusalem and the Saudi and Qatar backed jihadists are attacking Syria. Israel really has made KSA & Qatar their bitches.
