The ‘Fatah Halab’ (Aleppo Conquest) Operation Room made a statement yesterday in which they declared their plan to bombard “regime positions and barracks” in Aleppo on Sunday, 12th of June.
The Turkey-backed Jihadists, led by the terrorist group Jabhat Al-Nusra, called upon civilians to evacuate the targeted districts in government-held Western Aleppo.
The group also announced that their threats to bombard the city were in response to the government’s attacks against civilians, especially around the strategic Castillo road.
On the 3rd of June, rebel forces fired at least 50 mortar rounds, home-made rockets, and hell-canon shells, hitting the predominantly Armenian inhabited Midan district.
According to the Aleppo department of health, between the May 28th-June 3rd, civilian casualties numbered 115 dead, including 40 women and 30 children, and over 700 injured.
