BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels are in serious trouble in the northern countryside of Hama, as they watch the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) push north towards the Idlib Governorate from two different axis.
Utilizing their elite Tiger Forces and 5th Legion, the Syrian Arab Army has managed to reverse all of the jihadist gains that were made six months ago, while also targeting towns that have long been under the latter’s control, such as Al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita.
Approximately one hour ago, the Syrian Arab Army announced the capture of Zilqiyat after they made their first push north from the key town of Halfaya, which was also seized by the government forces this morning.
With Zilqiyat under their control, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Legion, alongside Hezbollah, will now push north to Al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita, while the Tiger Forces push north towards the strategic town of Morek.
If the Syrian Arab Army somehow manages to capture the aforementioned towns, they will be at the outskirts of Khan Sheikhoun, which is located at the provincial border of the Hama and Idlib governorates.
