Moments ago, Ahrar Al-Sham and several other jihadist factions announced the instigation of the third phase of their massive offensive which aims to lift the siege imposed on the rebel-held neighborhoods of east Aleppo.

Ahrar Al Sham’s spokesperson stated that while the Jaish Al-Fateh operation room will be focused on capturing the artillery base, Fateh Halab on the other side of the battlefield was focused on securing the Ramousah neighborhood. So far, reports talk of heavy clashes on the walls of the base and the gate following a VBIED explosion.

If this base is so heavily defended and entrenched as they say, that VBIED should have never reached its target!!!! w*f 5 years of VBIEDs and we dont have an answer to them?!?!!? ATGM teams set up around important bases and positions are top prio! SAA command so f*****g useless!

Yes it fricken winds me up too. The needless deaths from poor training and poor command baffles me. When i watch the jihadi videos assaulting, there is no doubt there suicide vehicles are terrifying and effective but there infantry tactics are a shower of s**t, and they still manage to advance! Pisses me right off 🙂

Man, you blame the wrong army, the SAA is a poor and exhausted army, I wonder over this, why the SAA does not get the weapons from Iran or Russia to stop this why of terror with VBIEDs. A good enlightment would help in first place to concentrate the fire on it.

You are right. The question that should be asked is who will re-build the SAA and how many decades will it take to get to the point knowing well that the Syrian economy will probably be re-built sometime in 22nd century. The country is flattened and it will take a century to get to the point where they were before the war. An army in such conditions cannot be built.

Correct militants have been trained by CIA & Israeli instructors in Turkey whilst SAA have been slugging it out exhausted for years now. Perhaps there needs to be a way to rotate talented troops out of the field into training and send them back out with higher ranks, soldier to NCOs and NCOs into officers?

“Rebel-held”? What rebels? Since they are backed by foreign states and most of the anti-government fighters are foreigners, the correct term would be “foreign-held” or “invader-held”.

What does VBIED even mean? The writing on this site is often amateurish like this, incomprehensible and failing to provide any meaningful context to understand it. If people can’t write, they shouldn’t be published. Editors are supposed to reject such writers.

As you can read in the comments “they will attack”, “they will fight”, “they will…”
It seems to be filmed before the attack.

Mercenaries and jihadists : real rebels gave up for long : they were lured into a fight for democracy in which they’d better had supported Assad vs. the old ba’athist guard that blockaded reforms he wanted to do… You can be sure that pro-democracy rebels have joined YPG and are neutral to Assad : he LAST thing they want is islamofascism (Muslim Brotherhood/Qaeda) or nazislamism (Daeshit)…
In fact, the ROE in Syria is easy : anyone barking aloah-snackbar shall be shot on the spot

Your logic is MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction), you must be a Daesh or Qaeda supporter as only them have interest in a nuclear war… Some of these supporters are clearly
Your “logic” is using a sledgehammer to kill an ant and your phantasms are as dangerous as those of the ones you pretend wanting to fight…
Putin is not a madman at all, in fact, he’s very subtile, just consider what happened to ALL the chechen shithadist leaders…
