BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham were able to beat back another powerful attack by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) at the strategic town of Al-Rahjan in northeast Hama.

Led by the Qalamoun Shield forces of the 3rd Division, the Syrian Arab Army began the day by storming the surrounding hilltop and farms of Al-Rahjan.

The Syrian Army would manage to take control of Al-Rahjan Hill and its corresponding farms after a breaking through Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s front-lines.

Once these sites were captured, the Syrian Army entered Al-Rahjan from its southern axis; however, this advance would be short-lived as the jihadist rebels mounted an important counter-attack.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham would manage to recapture all of the territory they lost and restore control over Al-Rahjan.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.
