Syria T-90

BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:50 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham had a rough start to the week after losing the strategic town of Souran in the northern countryside of Hama.

Things would only get worse for the jihadist rebels on Monday, when the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) began pounding the key town of Taybat Al-Imam with a barrage of rockets and artillery shells.

While some reports indicated the Syrian Arab Army had begun their attack on Taybat Al-Imam, Al-Masdar was able to confirm from a trusted military source that the government forces had not yet started their assault on the town.

The source added that the Syrian Arab Army has surrounded Taybat Al-Imam from three axes and should attack within the coming days, as long as the weather is clear for their air force.
