BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:30 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels have destroyed an important bridge in northwestern Syria to prevent a future Syrian Arab Army (SAA) advance into the Idlib Governorate.

According to a report from the Hama Governorate, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham destroyed the Beit Al-Ras Bridge in the Al-Ghaab Plain.

The Beit Al-Ras Bridge connected the government-held part of the Al-Ghaab Plain with the jihadist-held areas.

This move by the jihadist rebels came at the same time that the Syrian Arab Army sent a large convoy of reinforcements to the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

These new reinforcements from the Syrian Arab Army are expected to participate in the upcoming offensive in northwestern Hama.

Members of National Front for Liberation exploded Beit al Ras Bridge linking Beit al Ras village and Al Jayyed village in Hama governorate northwestern suburbs using local made mines, partially damaging the bridge, on August 31, 2018. Even SAA had heavily shelled this Bridge 5 months ago around February. So looks like that Bridge being intact or destroyed isn’t gonna make any difference to SAA.… Read more »

Syrian Army crosses Euphrates River northeast of Deir Ezzor into ISIS-held turf during 2017 September using this method. I shared the almasdar news link which had the video in it and the moderators deleted the link.
