BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:25 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels alleged on Friday that their forces struck a Syrian Arab Army (SAA) helicopter with an anti-aircraft missile (MANPADS) in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

According to the jihadist claims, their anti-aircraft missile forced the Syrian Army chopper to make an emergency landing at the Hama Military Airport.

However, no photos or videos have been published showing the alleged anti-aircraft missile strike on the Syrian Army chopper.

While no photos or videos were published, the jihadist rebels have hit Syrian military aircraft on a number of occasions in the past two months.

These jihadist anti-aircraft missiles forced the Syrian Air Force to temporarily ground their fleets in late June as two of their jets had to make emergency landings at the Hama Military Airport after being hit by these MANPADS.
