BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:10 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels continued their offensive in northern Latakia this afternoon, targeting several areas under the control of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

According to a preliminary report from the battlefield, the jihadist rebels managed to capture their first town during this offensive in the Turkmen Mountains of northern Latakia.

The report said the jihadist rebels captured the town of Atterah after overrunning the Syrian military’s lines this afternoon.

With Atterah under the control, the jihadist rebels have now captured two sites from the Syrian Arab Army since launching this offensive last night.

At the same time, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) is now present over northern Latakia. The SyAAF has already carried out several attacks since noon (local time), with their assault choppers doing most of the striking.

All the terrorists mentioned here are foreign mercenaries not Syrians. Assad is the elected president of Syria. These terrorists are foreign mercenaries under the Erdogan regime control. These foreign mercenaries will not last long. Wait until Hezbollah give them a lesson as they did to the Zio/Nazis. They are emboldened only because of Russia’s betrayal of Syria. But Iran and Hezbollah will never betray Syria and their counter offensive will put these foreign terror squads to rest forever.

Hezbollah and Iran need to step it up no matter how the western media scream.

Iranians troops and Hezbollah are foreign mercenaries which are working for a traitorous leader that cares more for his own power than for the good of his citizens. They are mercenaries that are widely reported to be stealing from locals and looting anything of value since the sanctions hit Iran and they were unable to pay them sufficiently. If Assad had cared about his people he would have stepped down when it was just mass protests and saved the obscene amount of deaths it has taken to keep him in power instead he was so desperate to cling to power… Read more »

What a laugh! All the terrorists were green bussed to Idlib & Hama by Syrian Arab Army and literally begged the Syrian Army to be evacuated out.
