DAMASCUS, SYRIA (6:14 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Division and auxiliary National Defense units (NDF) continued rapid advance in west Damascus this morning amidst a full scale jihadist retreat.

As rebel lines quickly crumbled, Syrian Army units captured the strategic Al Zaiyat hill and it’s surroundings southeast of Magher Al Meir.

In a parallel development, other government units entered the Zaher Aswad region where decisive clashes are ongoing as sources suggest its fall in the loyalist hands will occur very soon.

With the given loss of commanding heights at Mughr Al-Meir’s eastern gates, the aforementioned jihadist stronghold is expected to fall in the nearest future as the Syrian Armed Forces take no break attempting to free the Golan Heights bastion of militant presence.

It will be no surprise Mughr al-Meir falls to the government forces within the next few hours.
