BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:20 P.M.) – The jihadist special forces carried out a powerful attack against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) inside the southwestern part of Aleppo on Friday.
Led by the Harred Al-Moumenen Operation Room, the jihadist rebels ambushed a group of Syrian Arab Army soldiers that were posted near the Rashiddeen front in southwest Aleppo.
According to a military source in Aleppo, at least three soldiers were confirmed dead and one other reported wounded.
This is the first known attack that has been carried out by the Harred Al-Moumenen Operation Room in the Aleppo Governorate.
Previously, the jihadist group only carried out attacks in the Latakia countryside and some parts of the Jisr Al-Shughour District of Idlib.
