ALEPPO, SYRIA (8:00 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels struck back in Aleppo on Friday night, recapturing several points that were seized by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies around the city.

Led by Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) in the south, the jihadist rebels managed to recapture a number of points inside of Sheikh Sa’eed, pushing the Syrian Armed Forces all the way back towards the district’s northwestern axis.

According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent, the jihadist rebels were able to reclaim large parts of Sheikh Sa’eed after the Syrian Armed Forces and their Iraqi allies failed to eastern capture the neighborhoods of the district.

Meanwhile, in east Aleppo, Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki was able to restore several points around the Water Pumping Station in the Suleiman Al-Halabi District after an intense battle on Friday.

A military source to Al-Masdar news on Friday night that the jihadist rebels now control 20 percent of the Suleiman Al-Halabi District.

@leithfadel No such thing as jihadist rebels. They are all terrorists.

@MarkSleboda1 This is why I keep saying Russia & Iran need to throw another 10-20,000 troops each into the fight. Finish it!

The fact that the rodents waited until now of all times to counter is telling of the grave situation they are in.

I hope the Syrian army immediately keys in artillery coordinates on newly captured positions so that these areas can be shelled as soon as they are evacuated after a counter-attack.

È lampante che, contrariamente a quanto si sostiene, ricevono rinforzi in uomini ed armi…e che si battono con coraggio e determinazione !!
