BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham resumed their offensive operations inside Dara’a on Tuesday, targeting the last areas under the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) control inside the Al-Manishiyah District.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham managed to repel the Syrian Arab Army’s assault on Monday; this paved the way for their powerful attack on the latter’s positions the following day.

According to a military source, the jihadist rebels recaptured the territory they lost to the Syrian Arab Army on Monday, including several building blocks near the district’s center.

With limited reinforcements and heavy equipment, the Syrian Arab Army units inside the Al-Manishiyah District have been advised to hold onto the territory they control as long as they can; this will hopefully buy them some time before the high command finalizes the battle plan to retake the points they lost.
