BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:00 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels carried out a powerful attack against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) this morning in the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
Under the cover deep fog, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham were able to score several direct hits on the Syrian military’s positions near the town of Al-Fouro.
Al-Fouro is located just north of the strategic mountaintop at Jubb Al-Ahmar in the Kurdish Mountains (var. Jabal Al-Akrad) of northeast Latakia.
This attack by the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham managed to kill several soldiers from the Syrian Arab Army and National Defense Forces (NDF).
The estimated death toll at this time is between 20-25.
The area around the Al-Ghaab Plain is supposed to be part of the Sochi agreement that was established on September 17th; however, it has remained a war zone as the jihadist rebels have refused to withdraw from the area.
