BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels carried out powerful in northern Latakia this past weekend, resulting in several casualties for the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

Led by the Al-Qaeda linked Harras ad-Dine terrorist group, the jihadist rebels attacked the Syrian Army’s positions inside the ‘Ard Al-Wata region of Jabal Al-Akrad on Sunday.

The attack resulted in the death of at least a half dozen soldiers and the capture of all of their weapons by the Harras ad-Dine terrorists.

Harras ad-Dine is a newly formed jihadist group, which is branch of the Al-Qaeda forces in Syria.

Many of the jihadist group’s fighters are reportedly foreigners and previously members of Jabhat Al-Nusra.

Seems like the Qudean Salafists want to give the SAA a reason to finish the truce in that region.
