The Syrian Al-Qaeda rebels from Jabhat Al-Nusra and Jund Al-Aqsa continued to target to the Syrian government stronghold of Mhardeh in northern Hama on Friday, striking this predominately Antiochian Orthodox Christian city with a barrage of mortar shells and missiles.

The primary target for the jihadist rebels in Mhardeh was the large power plant that serves every household in the area.

According to an Al-Masdar correspondent with sources in the area, the jihadist attack on the Mhardeh Power Plant did enough damage to take it out of commission.

Currently, engineers and repairmen are attempting to restore the Mhardeh Power Plant, despite being under constant attack by jihadist rebels. 13282047_10156884773210361_469279631_n 13288968_10156884773240361_313844961_n 13318466_10156884773275361_676728855_n 13318763_10156884773265361_267514537_n

Leaving only 1km between an important power plant and the frontline while attacking on 5 different sites in the whole country at the same time… *sigh*

And BTW, as this is a civilian target which is deliberately striken and such kind of target, if I remember well, is of the same kind as targetting water supply, yet another war crime, anyway, al-Qaeda franchise has already proved on 9/11 how they cared about it…
