BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:15 P.M.) – Two of the largest jihadist groups inside the Idlib Governorate began clashing today around the village of Salqeen, local activists claimed this afternoon.
The reason for the tiff is unknown to Al-Masdar at the moment; however, tensions have been rising between the two entities after the formation of this new rebel coalition.
The two identified rebel groups involved in this alleged fight are Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (new rebel coalition) and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham; these two groups make up the bulk of the jihadist forces in northern Syria.
