BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels launched a powerful attack on southwest Aleppo this evening, targeting a number of neighborhoods under the control of the government.
According to a military source inside the provincial capital, the jihadist rebels in the Rashiddeen 4 area launched several ground-to-ground missiles at the Al-Hamdaniyah District, causing several explosions throughout the residential neighborhoods.
As a result of this attack, a dozen civilians were injured and taken to a local field hospital for medical care.
The Syrian Arab Army has now responded with an attack of their own, targeting the Rashideen 4 area that is controlled by the jihadist rebels.
Tonight’s attack by the jihadist rebels on Al-Hamdaniyah marks the first major confrontation in southwest Aleppo this month.
