BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Jabhat Tahrir Souriya launched a retaliatory attack against the people of Aleppo after their leader was assassinated by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

According to a field report from Aleppo, the jihadist rebels fired a barrage of rockets and artillery shells towards the provincial capital of Aleppo, hitting several residential buildings in the Al-Zahraa Association Quarter.

The field report added that the jihadist rebel attack resulted in the death of three civilians and the hospitalization of a half dozen others in the area.

This powerful attack by the jihadist rebels comes just a day after the Syrian Arab Army killed the military commander of Jabhat Tahrir Souriya in the Rashiddeen 4 District.

Recently, the hostilities in Aleppo have intensified between the Syrian Arab Army and jihadist rebels, prompting the Russian and Turkish forces to attempt to intervene to quell the violence.
