HAMA, SYRIA (11:20 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Jund Al-Aqsa (Syrian Al-Qaeda franchise) began releasing the names of their dead fighters from Friday’s offensive at the key town of Ma’an in northern Hama.
Jund Al-Aqsa released several pictures of their dead fighters from the Ma’an battle yesterday, eulogizing them on their social media accounts and websites.
Meanwhile, their allies from the Al-Murabton islamist group claimed they suffered 11 casualties on Friday after they successfully broke-through the Syrian Arab Army’s front-lines with Jund Al-Aqsa.
Other jihadist groups participating in the offensive also reported casualties, including Jund Al-Sham (Chechen jihadist group) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA).

According to a military source at Hama City, the jihadist rebels suffered an estimated 40+ casualties during Friday’s offensive, while the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) only reported 9 soldiers killed-in-action (KIA).
