BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 A.M.) – Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham has suffered more losses in northern Syria, as several of their members were killed in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo this week.
According to pro-opposition activists, at least two Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham fighters were killed and three more were wounded when two masked men opened fire on the jihadist group’s HQ in the southern Aleppo town of Tal Bajer.
Following this attack, unknown assailants threw a grenade at an HTS checkpoint inside the northern Idlib town of Al-Dana; this resulted in a few injuries.
These attacks come just 24 hours after unknown assailants stormed HTS’ positions in Jabal Al-Akrad, killing and wounding all of the jihadist combatants at a checkpoint near the Turkish border.
