Aleppo, Syria (11:30 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) are on the verge of losing the imperative southern Aleppo district of Al-Ramouseh after a fierce battle with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) that has stretched over 72 hours.
According to the Tiger Forces media wing, their units, alongside Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), have seized almost all of the Al-Ramouseh District after overrunning Jaysh Al-Fateh’s defenses earlier this morning.
The Tiger Forces have not declared complete control over Al-Ramouseh yet; however, several activists in southern Aleppo are claiming that Jaysh Al-Fateh has retreated from the district.
If the Syrian Armed Forces do recover the Al-Ramouseh District, they will be in position to reopen their vital supply route that flows through southern Aleppo.
As of now, the government’s only supply route to the Aleppo Governorate flows through the northern districts, which makes traveling to this province very difficult.
