BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels in west Aleppo are engaged in an all out war after Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham carried out a powerful attack against their former allies from Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki.
In a sudden move, HTS stormed Zinki’s positions inside the west Aleppo town of Mirznaz, resulting in the complete expulsion of their former ally from the area.
During the clashes, the military commander of the Atareb Martyrs Brigade, ‘Abdullah Ramah, was reportedly killed by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham before they took over the entire town.
Furthermore, HTS activists reported that more than ten Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki fighters killed and one of their armored vehicles was captured.
There are reports from west Aleppo now that indicate Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki has sent reinforcements to the area in order to storm Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions.
