DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:15 P.M.) – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that over 30 Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers were wounded by chlorine gas shells fired in east Aleppo by jihadist factions last night.
Al-Masdar News was informed last night that the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab fired several chlorine gas shells into the Nayrab area of east Aleppo, injuring a number of military personnel and civilians.
The Russian Ministry of Defense did not announce the number of civilians wounded by the chlorine gas attack last night; however, local sources say at least 18 civilians were exposed to these chemical agents, forcing them to seek medical assistance.
This chlorine gas attack marks the third time in one month that the jihadist rebels have used this chemical agent against the people of Aleppo.
Most recently, Jaysh Al-Fateh militants fired several chlorine gas shells into the Minyan Suburb of west Aleppo after suffering heavy losses to the Syrian Arab Army during the battle.
Russia has urged the international community to look into these claims; especially, after several civilians were injured by chlorine gas.
