BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – Jaysh Al-Islam turned in their heavy weapons to the Russian military police this week, fulfilling their last obligation prior to their departure from the eastern Qalamoun town of Dumayr.

The militant group handed over a large quantity of heavy weapons, which included several anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM), RPGs, machine guns, and mortar launchers.

More than 1,500 Jaysh Al-Islam fighters have now departed from Dumayr, alongside 5,000 of their family members.

Two months ago I was dreading it will be a b****y battle with JAI. https://mobile.almasdarnews.com/article/jaysh-al-islam-will-prove-syrian-armys-toughest-challenge-east-ghouta/ But after these JAI guys saw what happened in East Ghouta & Douma they decided to call it quits. Syria has weathered a lot of pressure & aggression from outside and has come out with flying colors. President Bashar Assad you can send a thank you note to Mohamed Bin Salman for all the hardware SAA has received from JAI. They said the Russians are slow to Saddle but Ride very very fast..you would have to give it up for how they have handled this whole affair because no other Country on Earth is capable of genuine peace and settlement..

On one hand the Russians have the long hard stick and in the other hand a small carrot and they show it to all the rebels. They are giving it both to the rebels. First they are right royally screwing them by bombing the sheit out of them by brute force as this is the only language the head choppers understand and then once they have broken the back of the terrorists and become submissive they send in the SA & Russian Police to negotiate the surrender and transport them away.
