On Wednesday, Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) militants apprehended two civilians that were caught delivering necessary humanitarian aid to the besieged towns of Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya.
Following the arrest, the Jaysh Al-Fateh militants reportedly executed the two apprehended men after they were accused of “aiding the infidels” inside the predominately Shi’i towns of Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya in the Idlib Governorate.
According to a private source, the two men were executed in front of the Imam Jama’ Sa’ad located inside the provincial capital of the Idlib Governorate – the two victims have not been identified as of yet.
The source added that Jaysh Al-Fateh has a strict mandate against providing any-kind of assistance to the beleaguered civilians of Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya without their permission.
Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya have been under siege since April of 2015 when Jaysh Al-Fateh seized the provincial capital of the Idlib Governorate and the remaining villages in the province.
Jaysh Al-Fateh’s reign of terror in the Idlib Governorate is currently under serious threat by the Syrian Armed Forces after the latter recaptured almost all the territory controlled by the extremist rebels in the Latakia Governorate.
