Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham began the assault by simultaneously storming the villages of Khunayfis, Al-Sutihayat, and Al-Ramliyeh; this attack resulted in a series of intense clashes that are still ongoing at the moment.
ThNo gains have been reported thus far; however, according to a military source in Al-Salamiyah, the militants are still on the offensive at these aforementioned villages.
These villages located west of Al-Salamiyah were initially secured during the Syrian Arab Army’s summer offensive last year; they are now under threat by Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham and their allies.
