BEIRUT, LEBANO (7:50 P.M.) – Israeli warplanes were spotted flying along the Syrian-Lebanese border tonight, raising the Syrian Air Defense’s alert level, a source told Al-Masdar tonight.

The Israeli warplanes reportedly did not cross over into Syrian territory, but rather, turned around and flew from the Beqa’a Valley to southern Lebanon.

In addition to their flights along the Syrian-Lebanese border, Israeli warplanes were spotted circling the Lebanese border-city of Marjeyoun.

Israel has recently increased their flights over Lebanon following their attack on the T-4 Airbase in late April.

Well what I don’t understand is why Lebanon doesn’t protest these violations or ask for assistance to enforce it’s air space?

Israel is trying to detect the radars of the new S 300 should they be in. Russia will not turn them on until the existing radars pick up an attack. Israel is planning another attack on Iranian soldiers but are afraid of the new air defense and they are not sure where it is at.
