BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 A.M.) – An Israeli drone conducted a low altitude flight over the southern part of Lebanon on Sunday, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
According to the NNA report, the Israeli drone detonated a spy device inside the town of Hallusieh, causing a loud explosion that could be heard throughout the area.
NNA said an Israeli spy device planted in the village of Hallusieh, east of Tyre, was remotely destroyed by the Israeli plane which flew nearby in conjunction with the explosion.
This flight was conducted in close coordination with an Israeli attack helicopter that was also above the skies of southern Lebanon.
On Monday, an Israeli MK-type drone conducted a low altitude flight over the Chouf area before turning east towards the Syrian border.
In response to the provocation, UNIFIL Spokesperson Andrea Tenenti said that “UNIFIL is considering the issue in close cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces.”
