DAMASCUS, SYRIA (10:00 P.M)- Israeli tanks opened fired upon a security outpost in Gaza, hours ago, prompting a response from Hamas.
One Palestinian have been killed and two others injured, following an unprovoked tank shelling of a Hamas run outpost in Eastern Gaza.
Ashraf al-Qedra, spokesperson for the Gaza Health Ministry, named the murdered Palestinian in a press released as Mahmoud al-Nabahin, he was 24 years old. One of the two injured, is in critical condition.
A sniper, belonging to Hamas’s armed wing, the Al-Qassam brigades, retaliated injuring an Israeli soldier in the head.
Following this, Palestinians reportedly released flaming balloons and kites into Israeli held territory.
Israeli ‘Channel 2 News’ reported that the countries chief of staff is set to consult with Southern Command and Security Chiefs, in order to discuss further escalations.
Hamas will also hold a meeting, in which they will decide how to deal with the Israeli aggression.
