BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – The Israeli Armed Forces carried out a powerful attack on the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions in southern Syria last night.
According to a Syrian Army source, the Israeli Armed Forces struck their observation post at the hilltop town of Tal Al-Harrah in the western countryside of the Daraa Governorate.
The Israeli missiles reportedly scored a direct hit the observation post, killing and wounding several Syrian Arab Army soldiers.
In addition to their strikes on Tal Al-Harrah, the Israeli Armed Forces also struck the Syrian Arab Army’s positions at Tal Al-Ahmar in the Al-Quneitra, along with several points nearby.
Last night’s missile strikes marked the first time in two weeks that the Israeli military has struck the positions of the Syrian Arab Army inside Syria.
The Syrian Army has not responded to the Israeli strikes.
