Russian and Israeli defence officials held talks on the situation in Syria and other security issues in the Middle East on Wednesday in Moscow.

The delegations also reportedly discussed Israel’s Operation Northern Shield, aimed at exposing and neutralising cross-border attack tunnels that Hezbollah militants have dug from Lebanon into Israel.

The Russian side was represented by the deputy chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, Maj. Gen. Vasily Trushin, while the Israeli delegation was led by Head of the Israel Defence Forces Operations Directorate Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva.

According to a Russian MoD report, the Russian and Israeli military also discussed the work of communication channels between the Hmeimin base and Israels’s incident prevention command centre.

The Russians should tell the Israelis that if they try to mess with the Russians in Syria again, that the Russians will try out some of their latest weapons against Israeli defences. I would really like to see real-time testing of Russian armaments which have been given a boost in the Syrian conflict and actually overtaking British sales.

Russia-Israel talk ? Even this is meaningless since Israel is the main master mind of Syria destruction, Israel has supported and is still supporting terrorists with money, logistic and weapons. Israel planned the Russia plane shot down (it was not an accident at all). Well, …. maybe Israel will tell Russia what will be the rules, and Russia has to obey.

Israel IL-20 was just a signal to Russia about what Israel wants of Iran (to move away from Syria and to stop helping Syria). IL-20 was a very well planned action of Israel, the same as what happen to USS Liberty. Both of them were a very well planned “accidents.” Israel believes that fool USA behavior and answer will be the same of Russia. I think Israel is wrong, but let us see later.
