S-300

BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:00 P.M.) – Israel’s Regional Cooperation Minister Tzachi Hanegbi told his nation’s Army Radio on Wednesday that the S-300 system will not have much of an affect against their warplanes.

“The operational abilities of the air force are such that those (S-300) batteries really do not constrain the air force’s abilities to act,” he told Israel’s Army Radio.

“You know that we have stealth fighters, the best planes in the world. These batteries are not even able to detect them,” he continued.

The Israeli minister said that Russia already had their S-300 systems inside of Syria, so the weapon had already been factored in.

Furthermore, he said that Israel made it clear that they will not back down and will continue conducting their operations inside Syria.

“We have clarified to the Syrians more than once that we will not step back from our commitment to prevent Iran’s entrenchment in Syria,” Hanegbi said, adding a veiled threat to take action against the S-300 on the ground: “We were already forced, a few months ago, to destroy Syrian missile batteries, and I hope they won’t challenge us in the future.”

Exactly they forgot that they lost a F16 to S200. Also if S300 is useless why do they barking about the S300?

Actually, it’s Il-20 which is useless against S-200 😉

How many times Netanahoo went to shine Putin’s shoes begging him not to deliver the so called “useless S300” to Syria? There are some very smart Israelis, but this statement that one of them made, showed they have some very dumb too.

It’s a way to prevent escalation, in fact, anybody sorting out all anti-Semitic crapaganda from hard facts only can state that Israel always sought to live in peace and good neighbourhood since 1948. In fact, the Jews are really nice people indeed. With all those around them willing to genocide ’em, sincerely, knowing my people, we would be at least tenfold more aggressive, but hey, no people fought more wars or battle than mine, so… Maybe do we eat too much cheese?

And here you are in your ungratefulness spouting utter bilge in support of the new nazi state Israel. You should be ashamed of yourself.

The Daeshbags sucks liar is spreading Israeli propaganda here, let’s me laugh at him.

Israel is now in checkmate not even able to eliminate Hamas armed group in the poor little shitty Gaza strip what he can do against Syria-Iran-Iraq-Lebanon ? IDF is the weakest army on the ground, they do not fight to crush their enemies but mainly to avoid being killed as little p***y girls.

Without their air superiority, Hamas and Hezbollah could invade Israel LOOOOL.

DGSI is happy knowing about your moral support to both Hamas and Hezbollocks. Yet another “Fiché S”… Let me recall you that Hamas is blacklisted as a terrorist organisation by the EU and when it comes to Hezbollocks, if the EU only blacklist their military branch, the whole movement is blacklisted by us… Oh, BTW, you surely know that our Harfang drones are co-built between Airbus and IAI and that we buy our 5.56 bullets from Israel too… Seriously, if we had Andorra with Hamas and Luxembourg with Hezbollocks doing exactly the same shït these terrorists are doing, I think… Read more »

I had confirmation : NecroIslamoLeftist is under DGSI watch now.
Sad they refused to communicate me his name, I’d have exposed him publicly on all social media. I know many former UNIFIL, including two of my cousins who were paratroopers and deployed in Beirut in 1983, and had their buddies assassinated by Hezbollah when they did the Drakar building bombing. 58 of our Blue-Helmets peace keepers were assassinated.
God forgives, France doesn’t!

I don’t think Russia is going to give up on the opportunity to get some firsthand experience with the F-35 to improve their own AD systems. Israel would be naive to think that Russia isn’t going to go the extra mile to figure out how to deal with these aircraft using the S-300. If an F-35 gets shot down by the S-300 that will cost the US war machine a lot of money as billions of dollars poured into the F-35 project and no country will continue to buy them if they can be shot down so easily.

It’s cool to impress the Yanks. Pearl Harbour impressed them. They can’t help mpressing you in return : Tokyo fire-bombing (+100k dead), Hiroshima, Nagasaki. Let’s hope your masters will impress the Yanks…

Oh, Yankees will just need to integrate French Rafale’s SPECTRA system to get active stealth just like on Rafale. Rafale is already proven at flying just over S-300 and S-400’s radars without ending detected at all despite external payload… Or maybe will they consider buying Rafales just as they’re very highly consider buying Italo-French FREMM frigates, and considering what is competing while Leonardo bought shipyards in the US… No problem. Lockheed could simply start to license-build Rafales as McDonnell Douglas license built the Harrier. Rafales are already validated to be used on US aircraft carriers and it’d be more easy… Read more »

Gen. Igor Konashenkov, a Russian Defense Ministry spokesman, went as far as to say that “all the illusions of amateurs about the existence of ‘invisible’ jets will face a disappointing reality,” referring to the US’s fifth generation stealth aircraft, the F-22 and F-35.

Right. That’s why they tried so long to keep Syria from getting them. How can you tell when an Israeli politician is lying? When his lips move.

Whatabout an Arab politician, when taqiyya (deception) and kitman (transvesting truth) are the foundation of Islamic culture while in Jewish culture, any lie is from Satan…

I guess if the S300 is useless against Israeli warplanes the Syrians will just have to lob more “birds” at their F35s. They seem to be effective.

Or more S-200 at Russian planes, so Russia will deliver S-400…
The two birds have damaged a F-35, not shot down, while Il-20 is at the bottom of the sea…

With the price Hellbollah paid to damage some 5 Merkava in 2006 (two M-II, one M-III two M-IV, note that it took a huge 100kg IED for the 1st M-IV and a state of the art Kornet for the 2nd). Hezb had to shoot more than a thousand ATGM for 5 tanks and ended with about 2,500 casualties incl.850 dead. At this moment, their active manpower was 2,000 with 3-4k in reserve… when you end with more than 100% casualties on your active force and have to call reservists, I have my idea on which side the massacre is. Actually,… Read more »

I think we’re still in Lebanon as part of UNIFIL.
I’m not Israeli baby, not even Jew.
Israelis withdrew after UNSC ordering ceasefire and withdrawal, added to US pressure. Nasrallah promised to disarm Hezbollah to stop the slaughter of Hezbollah, IDF had wounded or killed ALL Hezb active personnel and the 6th of its reserve, LOL!

Nasrallah even declared that had he knew IDF response would be so violent, he’d never had started the war! Do your homework.

Nasrallah is lucky I’m not Ehud Olmert : I’d have even made a false flag just to have an excuse to finish Hezb off once and for all, and end with Nasrallah hung by the feet to a butcher hook like Mussolini. I’m merciless with my enemies.

I don’t agree with Tzachi Hanegbi : F-35 ain’t the best. Recently retired US boss of AAC (air combat comment) said that F-35 was irrelevant if they don’t keep F-22 since you need 8 F-35 to make the job of F-22 in air-superiority. F-35 is a strike aircraft with limited A2A capability Rafale proved itself as good as F-22 for air superiority and even better in case of dogfight and nothing to envy on F-35 as a strike aircraft, in fact, payload is even higher while the aircraft is much lighter. Thanks to active stealth, Rafale was already tested at… Read more »

I must add that IDF always had better results with French warplanes.
Mirages : war won in 6 days and easily.
US aircraft : Yom Kippour war was VERY disputed, IDF lost at least 102 warplanes, some say about 250+

Iraqi Mirages, when equipped for air superiority, were the Nemesis for Iranian F-14… All those they lost were on strike missions… Pfff, By using the Mirage-F1 for air superiority and less efficient Soviet c**p for strike, it would have worked far better, even if Mirage-F1 was excellent for strike job too, but unlike Rafale, they can’t make strikes and air-superiority at once.
