BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:30 P.M.) – The Israeli military launched a hot air balloon over the southern countryside of Lebanon, today, to spy on the movements of the Lebanese Army and Hezbollah.

According to state-owned National News Agency (NNA), the Israeli hot air balloon was launched from the nearby locality of Kroum Sharqi; it would fly over the Nabatieh and South governorates of Lebanon.

“Earlier at dawn, the enemy had installed a camera upon the cement wall separating Lebanon and Occupied Palestine, and directed it towards the Lebanese territories,” the NNA report said.

“Furthermore, enemy forces resumed the setting of earthen barricades behind the technical fence off al-Wazzani, with a Hammer vehicle patrolling the area,” they added.

This overflight by the Israeli military comes just 24 hours after they began an operation to destroy Hezbollah’s tunnels near the town of Kafr Kila.
