BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:05 P.M.) – Minutes ago, the spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) alleged on Twitter that several projectiles from Syria landed in the occupied Golan Heights.

The Israeli Defense Forces used the same excuse, Saturday, to launch a powerful airstrike over the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions near the key city of Al-Ba’ath in the Golan Heights region of Al-Quneitra.
As a result of yesterday’s airstrike, a Syrian Army tank and shilka were destroyed by the Israeli Air Force; this attack would later propel the Al-Qaeda linked rebels to capture several points near Al-Ba’ath.
Al-Masdar has reached out to the Syrian Arab Army to confirm the IDF’s claim.
