BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:45 A.M.) – The Israeli Air Force bombed the scientific research facility in northeastern Tartous last night, several pro-government social media activists alleged this morning.

The reports claim that three Israeli jets bombed the scientific research facility at 3:30 A.M. (Damascus Time) in the large city of Masyaf near the Hama Governorate border.

Pro-government social media pages also claimed several people were injured as a result of the bombing, but there was little-to-no damage done to the building itself.

Al-Masdar has reached out to the Syrian military for confirmation.

Exactly , 10 years since ”operation orchard” , Israel celebrates anniversaries well. I wonder where is the newly ”integrated” Syrian-Russian air defense response.

What’s the excuse for the Israeli bombing of the Syrian research centre?
Did a Syrian scientist throw a shell all that way across into Israel?
All the external powers are at least trying to use the excuse of fighting ISIS to be in Syria. The Israelis on the other hand support the terrorist group, al Nusra, and don’t hide the fact that they would have preferred Syria to have been split up so that they can keep the seized Golan Heights.
