DAMASCUS, SYRIA (3:26 A.M)- Israeli forces opened fire upon unarmed Gazan farmers today, unprovoked.
The attacks took place in the northern coastal area of Beit Lahiya, as well as to the east of the refugee camp known as al-Maghazi, located in central Gaza.
Attacks against Palestinians working in agriculture and the fishing industry have been almost daily – according to eyewitness testimonies, delivered to Maan news sources – since the signing of the unity deal between Hamas and Fatah.
The “buffer zones” have not been properly confirmed by Israel, as Palestinians are left to guess where they can roam in their own land, constantly in fear of being attacked.
The violent practices of the Israeli military have all but destroyed the fishing and agricultural industries in Gaza during the past 10 years of Israel’s illegally imposed seige.
