BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 P.M.) – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly launched an attack on the Palestinian security headquarters in the West Bank city of Nablus this morning.

According to the Palestinian Foreign Ministry, the Israeli forces attacked the security HQ at dawn, wounding one soldier that was present inside the building.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry slammed the attack by the Israeli Defense Forces, accusing the latter of causing political chaos.

“Israel is seeking to create a state of security and political chaos with a view to creating an atmosphere to pass the U.S. peace plan, known as ‘deal of the century’,” the ministry said in a statement.

Ibrahim Ramadan, the governor of Nablus, said that the Israeli soldiers targeted the Palestinian security HQ by blocking building from three sides before opening fire.

“During operations to arrest terrorist operatives in the city of Nablus, a firefight broke out between IDF soldiers and people who were identified by the troops as suspects. After the fact, it was determined that it was Palestinian security services personnel”

According to Palestinian media, one of the Palestinian security officers was lightly injured to the hand.
This is far from John Carpenter’s “Assault on Precinct 13” 😉
