The Israeli-owned oil firm, the Trans-Asiatic Oil Ltd., also known as TAO, have been ordered to pay $1.2 billion to the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) by the Swiss based arbitration court.

According to the Lausanne based court, with sanctions lifted against NIOC, there is no legal obstacle in transferring the payments that originate from before the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Along with the $1.2 billion owing, the Israeli company also has to pay $200,000 in court costs. This still falls short of the estimated $7 billion still owing to Iran by the Israeli firm.

Although the same court in Switzerland ruled in 2015 that Israel pay the money owed, Tel Aviv had appealed.

The only solution for penny pinching, money hungry Zionists who plunder American Taxpayer’s money is by taking money away from them. It is known fact that for money worshiping Zionists, losing money is more painful than losing their children. So, hit them hard where it hurts the most, by BDS, and regular lawsuits, so that, they realize that, Genocide cost money, ethnic cleansing cost money, putting people in concentration camp and denying them the basic human rights cost money, occupying and colonizing American government and preventing it from working for American people who are some of the poorest people in… Read more »

Frivolous lawsuits. In any case Iran at war with Israel, threatening and plans to destroy her, so in any case Israel has no obligation to pay even a dime.

Such decisions are confirming that Israel is becoming less and less useful for imperialism.

If it is to do with that International Claims Tribunal thing then Iran might get paid. The US paid over 2 billion dollars at the start of affairs back in early 1981 and 1.7 billion $ just a few months ago. That setup has a fair whack of legal binding.

The first rule of being a bunch of thieves is never give the money back. Iran will never see a penny.

Should Iran possess some nukes, the payment would not take long. But without nukes I do not believe the transfer will be done in this century.
