BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 A.M.) – Last night, the Israeli Air Force carried out another attack on the Syrian government’s positions in the Golan Heights region of the Al-Quneitra Governorate.
According to a military source in Damascus, Israeli jets attacked the pro-government militia, Fouj Al-Joulan (Golani Regiment),
near the town of Al-Maqrousah, which is located directly west of Brit Tima in the Golan Heights.
As a result of this airstrike on Saturday evening, three Fouj Al-Joulan fighters were killed, marking the second time this year that the Israeli Air Force has killed Syrian military personnel within their own airspace.
The Israeli Air Force typically carries out airstrikes against the Syrian government before the latter launches a major offensive against the jihadist rebels in the Golan Heights.
