BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:10 P.M.) – Israel will use their F-35L stealth fighter jets in Syria, Galei Tzahel (Israeli Army radio) reported on Wednesday.

According to the Galei Tzahel report, the decision to use the F-35 comes in response to the Russian Federation’s decision to supply Syria with the S-300 air defense system.

“Galei Tzahal quoted a source in the Israeli Air Force who said that in light of the situation in Syria, Israel has decided to increase the use of F-35 stealth fighter in its attacks on Syria,” Arutz Sheva reported.

“The coming attacks won’t be the first, but they will be safer for the pilots in light of the new reality in Syria’s skies,” the source told Galei Tzahal, as quoted by Arutz Sheva.

“This is the most expensive weapon in the world, and it’s the most advanced airplane in the world. Israel paid 125 million for each plane, and the Defense Ministry purchased 50 of the Model A planes… Our planes are called the F-35I. Eight of the planes have already landed in Israel and 33 are expected to arrive by 2021,” they added.

So, when Russians supply Syria with defensive system it is considered “escalation of the situation”. When Americans supply Israel with attacking F35 is NOT considered escalation. Am I the only one seeing the double standards here? Hello, not everybody is sheep. Still there is humans with brains left on this planet Earth…

Actually, US don’t fully supply Israel with F-35 since wings are made at IAI and F-35’s AI-brain has been rewritten in Israel too…

LOL you forgot the downing of the Israeli F-16 by the old Syrian air defense system in February and the KIA of the jew pilot.

Stop your shitty jewish state propaganda. Israel is now in checkmate, not even able to eliminate Hamas armed group in the little shitty Gaza strip, what can he do with Syria-Iraq-Iran-Lebanon ? A war with Syria for sure Israel will be crushed more dramatically than in Lebanon – 2006.

Do you want to see palestinians armed group videos showing the amazing killing of the IDF from 2005-2014 ? I have a huge collection of these videos, IDF are the worst army fighting on the ground, Israelis do not fight to crush their enemies but mainly to avoid being killed, they fight like little p***y girls. Without their air superiorty Hamas and others armed groups could invade Israel.

With Israeli companies having rewritten the F-35’s AI software, many issues are already gone since most of these came from the poorly written Lockheed software… It’s clear that Israelis would better had spent their money into Rafale since Rafale already flew just over Hmeimim without being detected at all by S-400’s radars and you get it for about the same price as the newest F-16 version, the F-16V Viper… But with US paying 20% of their military budget… Nevertheless, with Israelis implied in F-35’s AI/software, it’s likely to become a very decent strike aircraft, unfortunately, it hasn’t the Rafale’s active… Read more »

With all the hubris I state about S-300, in Greek tragedies, hubris is always followed by Nemesis…
Knowing about IDF gear, won’t be F-35 that will from from the skies, but things called Delilah, Popeye, Popeye-Turbo, Rampage, AGM88E HARM, Harop, Harpy…
They might even end using BrahMos, courtesy of India…

Go ahead, that would mean S-400 for Syria.

First Israel was helping to overthrow government in Syria – that lead to Iran being in Syria.
Then Israel was bombing Syria trying to get Iran out – that led to Syria having advance air defense.
Now they are planing to attack this defense …

They didn’t helped to try to overthrow, it’s even the contrary and the main reason why Bibi was so furious at Obongo, BTW, the attempt to overthrow wasn’t even an US plot, it was due to the Qatar poisonous shenanigans. IDF is doing strikes on Iranian weapons transfers to UNSC-banned Hezbollah military branch. They usually avoid as much as possible to make casualties. If shot at, they just shoot back. Iran is implied into illegal arms trafficking, Syria let them do and even protects the trafficking… If you think Israelis will wait until Hezb has hundreds of thousands Zezlal-2 rockets… Read more »

The Syrian S-300 will be integrated with the Russian air defense and its S-400, this means what the S-400 registers, it will provide the information to the S-300 system.

It is a not proven yet that the S-300 can down an F-35. But it ca down all variants of F15 and F16.
The Zionist possess 85 F15, 224 F16, and 12 F35. A total of 321 aircraft.
This clearly shows that 309 aircraft have been rendered idol; which 96%.
If this is not an effective deterrent; then what else can ground 96% of the strongest regional air-force in one go.
