DAMASCUS, SYRIA (6:00 P.M)- The Israeli Regime has yet again launched a series of Airstrikes against several targets throughout the Gaza Strip, this time Hamas have responded.

Today Israel carried out airstrikes throughout Gaza, resulting in the destruction of civilian infrastructure as well as a tunnel near the Rafah (Southern Gaza) crossing, according to the Israeli Army the tunnel was belonging to Hamas. Reports indicate that four Palestinians resistance fighters – 2 members of the al-Qassam brigades and 2 members of the al-Quds brigades – were killed (names yet to be confirmed).

Hamas, for the first time all year, reportedly responded to the unprovoked Israeli aggression with a barrage of homemade scrap-metal rockets. Israeli media outlet ‘Ynet.com’ claim that three Israeli soldiers and 3 civilians have been lightly injured by the “Hamas rockets”, they are now undergoing treatment. Three of the “injuries” reported were shock trauma cases, one man also injured his own foot during the panic. There were also reports of power outages in Sderot (Israel), said to have been caused by the “rocket fire”.

Hamas “Rocket” (glorified firework) hit a car in Israel.

The Palestinian resistance organization known as ‘Islamic Jihad’, have announced that Israel’s recent aggression has violated the 2014 ceasefire norms.

Today’s events also coincided with the “Freedom Flotilla” from Gaza, aiming to break the illegal Israeli siege and transport wounded/ill Palestinians to a country/territory which can provide suitable medical facilities. The first flotilla was intercepted by armed Israeli gunboats, resulting in the arrest of 17 Palestinians, the boats were not in Israeli waters.

BUT WHO STARTED IT?

To provide some context to what has happened today, we have to look back to months leading up to this point. Israel have attacked Gaza with artillery-fire, tank-fire and airstrikes on a weekly bases, sometimes even on a daily bases.

Hamas did not respond with rocket-fire into Israel during the seven week ‘Great Return March’ – starting on the 30th of March (Land Day) – when the Israeli military killed approximately 120 unarmed protestors and injured upwards of 13,000.

On the 5th of May Israel killed 6 members of the Al-Qassam Brigades, with a booby-trapped telecommunications box near Khan Younis. Airstrikes were also conducted on the 5th of May against several sites throughout Southern Gaza, Hamas did not respond.

On the 6th of May, Israeli Newspaper ‘Haaretz’, released an article claiming that Hamas were showing signs of wanting a ceasefire truce with Israel, Israel did not respond to any such initiatives by Hamas.

At approximately 11:00 P.M on the 26th of May (days ago), Israel fired 25 missiles at sites in Khan Younis and Rafah, resulting in the murder of two members of ‘Islamic Jihad’ as they patrolled an outpost, there was no response to this unprovoked Israeli attack.

On the 28th, an unprovoked tank shelling of Beit Lahia killed a Hamas member. Hamas did not respond on the 28th.

Only after heavy shelling today (29th of May) did Hamas respond with a barrage of scrap-metal rockets, sometimes referred to by experts as glorifired fire-works.

Hamas have seen that peaceful demonstrations do not work to move the international community into action, the escalation we now see is completely due to the inaction of those who refuse to hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law.

If a war is declared, Israel is the aggressor and Israel undoubtably provoked it, not Hamas.

If Hamas calls interference with the border peaceful they are drunk. You cannot provoke until You get retaliation and then claim You have not started the trouble when all starts to escalate and You are at the loosing end. p.s. The Muslim apologists of violence forget that the Muslims drove the Mizrahim Jews from their lands after 1948 and confiscated 100$ BLN of assets and about 4 times the size of Israel in real estate. So it was not only the Zionists side that pushed and committed an ethnic cleansing. Now 61% of the population of Israel descends from Mizrahim.… Read more »

#PALLYWOOD Just read Hamas charter! It is more than clear : they are Part of the Muslim Brotherhood (islamofascists), their goal is NEITHER a Palestinian state nor to live in peace it’s the destruction of the state of Israel, a Shoah v.2.0 then… Global Jihad… Bob Inlakesh, I recommand you a good clinic for your circumcision and to consider adopting Islamic clothes. I hope you consider niqab sexy clothing and that you don’t like sausages and listening to Motörhead, especially their famous “(I don’t need) Religion”. Oh, BTW, the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in Syria, Egypt, Russia, UAE, Bahrain and… Read more »

A successful Jihad is always a war of extermination. But all that talk of exterminating the Jews is idle. God has decided to compensate the Mizrahim Jews for their losses with Israel.

The Palestinians cannot continue to contest God’s decision. Unless they want that the Lord again writes his decision with their blood.
