BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:45 P.M.) – The Israeli Air Force launched their third airstrike against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) earlier today, striking the latter’s positions at the Mafrazeh Al-Jisr Checkpoint in the Golan Heights.
According to a military source in the Golan Heights, this airstrike by the Israeli Air Force killed two Syrian Army soldiers and wounded three other military personnel.
The two soldiers killed by the Israeli airstrike this morning were identified by the source as Muhammad ‘Ali ‘Abdo of ‘Ayn Fayt village and Mahmoud Yousif Al-Hilal of Drousha.
Minutes ago, another Israeli airstrike was reported at the village of ‘Ayn ‘Aisha; however, this is still unconfirmed at the moment.
In conjunction with the Israeli airstrike, the Al-Qaeda linked rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham launched another offensive in the Golan Heights, today, targeting the key hilltop of Tal Ahmar – clashes are ongoing.
