Earlier today, the Syrian Red Crescent (equivalent of the Red Cross) reached a deal with Ahrar ash-Sham and Jabhat al-Nusra to hand over the bodies of civilians killed in the village of Al-Zara less than two weeks ago.
In total, 49 bodies will arrive in the military hospital of Homs city tomorrow; 42 of the dead are civilians while 7 are confirmed to be soldiers.
Dozens more are still believed to be held hostage by jihadist groups in northern Homs.
