Al-Quneitra, Syria (12:05 P.M.) A group of jihadist rebels announced on Saturday, their intentions to launch a large-scale offensive dubbed “Qadsiyah Al-Jnoub” in the Al-Quneitra Governorate.

According to their released statement, the offensive will be led by three jihadist groups: Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front), Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, and Jami’at Beit Al-Maqdis.

The purpose of this offensive will be expel the government forces from the Golan Heights and Khan ‘Arnabeh areas of the Al-Quneitra Governorate.

Local social media activists posted that the jihadist rebels are attacking U.N. Hill near Hader – government-backed “Fouj Al-Joulan” (Golan Regiment) is confronting the enemy forces.

The last time the jihadist rebels targeted the predominately Druze village of Hader in the Golan Heights, they were pushed back after a two week long battle.
