The 1st day of Jaish al-Fateh’s (Army of Conquest) renewed offensive on government-held western Aleppo did not go as planned as their forces were unable to hold a single site captured from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

Spearheaded by four consecutive suicide bombings and a massive artillery barrage on Thursday morning until noon, Jaish al-Fateh’s elite ‘Inghimasis’ infiltration units attacked the SAA’s positions at the 3000 Apartment Project, the Al-Assad Military Academy, New Aleppo district and 1070 Apartment Project.

Unfortunately for the jihadists, their forces were forced to withdraw from a dozen buildings captured in the western part of the 3000 Apartment Project on Thursday evening due to the SAA conducting a swift counter-attack.

Thousands of government soldiers, many of whom are elite, are present on this frontline while several T-90 tanks are also deployed.

During today’s assault, at least 50 Jaish al-Fateh militants were confirmed killed. In addition, a source told Al-Masdar News that 6 tanks, 2 BMP’s and 4 machine-gun manned vehicles were destroyed.

The Syrian military said 12 civilians were killed and over 200 wounded by rebel shelling while it did not specify the SAA’s casualties.

In the coming days, the SAA’s Tiger Forces, Desert Hawks Brigade and Liwa al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary) are expected to launch a counter-offensive and attempt to retake areas lost last week at Minyan and the Dahiyat al-Assad district.

Russia is always asking for a truce that zionist jihadis will never respect and worst they will use that truce to rearm and reorganize.

SAA and Russia will wait for zionist jihadists to reorganize, to rearm and launch another a new offensive. This will happen for 5 years.

These offensives were known to happen. So, why SAA and Russia didn’t attack first while the others were organizing ? I will never understand that. The best defense is the attack.

Who could know the minds of generals , but defensive stance is perfect for bleeding the enemy , and then counterattack , but not to cocky , calculated spread !

That had happened months ago during the same kind of offensives. Once SAA managed to counter-attack guess what Russia asked for ? A useless truce that was never respected by the other side. Did you remember that ?

SAA got momentum but Russia cut it down and ask for a truce for the benefit of zionist jihadists. And now, you have the result of the “truce” that was asked for months ago.

Positively yes about the game although, YES WE CAN (LOL) grasp! Vlad is doing great! All the s**t is dragged on the public place exposed in full view of all and the funniest thing is that it’s not even necessary to lie : Goebbels pointed that the biggest a lie is and the more it is repeated, it’ll be more believed but only as long as the state can shelter the people from the truth and the truth has now gone viral, wiping a lot of propaganda. Not so long ago, grasping those things were feasible only for people with… Read more »

There may be an additional reason: not to heat up the war too much before the elections in the USA. Otherwise Clinton has a reason to scream against the Russians and Syrians. Just a thought I had when I read that the russian aircrafts do not fly over Aleppo.
