According to sources in Syria, Islamist rebels in the Southern province of Deraa shelled a Church today morning, during mass. The Church is situated in the neighborhood of Sham Al-Khat, and no causalities were reported.
Just moments after the attack, the Syrian Army responded with artillery fire, and targeted Al-Balad, injuring and killing many terrorists belonging to Fateh al-Sham.
The Syrian Army also destroyed two SVBIEDs in Deraa before they reached their targets, repelling the terrorist’s offensive.
Deraa province is currently divided between pro-government forces, and opposition groups. In comparison to other parts of Syria, Deraa has been relatively peaceful for the past few months.
