An alliance of Islamic fighting factions has seized, on Friday, the town of Al-Bell in Aleppo northern countryside, driving out ISIS fighters from the area.
The town of Al-Bell, situated 14 km from Bab Al-Salamah crossing border, was taken over by ISIS after capturing the strategic town of Sawran.
Spokesman of Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement, Ahmed Qarah Ali, said his fighters, in collaboration with the Jaysh al-Islam [Army of Islam] and Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah [The Levant Front] managed to kill scores of ISIS fighters and destroy weapons and vehicles, including ZU-23-2 (23mm gun).
Qarah Ali entirely denied making any agreement with ISIS to open roads between both sides.
Earlier on Friday, an ISIS fighter guarding a checkpoint in Sawran was shot dead by a rebel sniper.
